2024-151 TPT Medical Radiation / Ultrasound Technologist (AGH)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a certified Radiation Technology Program
• Graduate of a certified Ultrasound Technology Program
• Able to meet verbal and written communication skill requirements
• Must maintain clinical competence through continuing education
• Competent in the production of quality radiographs/images
• Knowledge of Meditech and EI
• Previous hospital experience an asset
• Current active member in good standing with the CMRITO qualified to practice in both modalities is required
• ARDMS, OAMRS and Sonography Canada registrations are an asset
• CPR certification an asset
• Ministry of Labour Worker Health & Safety Awareness Training Certificate
• Work well under pressure in emergency situations and exercise good judgment
• Strong interpersonal skills–ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, Team Members & other health care professionals
• Time management and ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to focus in a team environment, with strong focus on collaboration and communication to ensure timely and quality services to patients
• French verbal communication skills would be considered an asset
• Share of AGH on call schedule
• Must have reliable mode of transportation
• Must be within the community during on-call hours
• A satisfactory Criminal Record Check will be required by the successful candidate as a condition of employment.
