Infection Control
In keeping with its commitment to patient safety and transparency, MICs Group of Health Services has begun to post rates for the most common hospital-associated infections. The public can now tell at a glance how many new cases of hospital acquired clostridium difficile (C. difficile) have occurred in the past month at each MICs acute care facility and how many new cases of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) and Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci (VRE) have occurred in the previous quarter (3 month period).
