MICs Group of Health Services Reinforces Commitment to Physician Attraction and Retention

The MICs Group of Health Services (MICs), in collaboration with the Townships of Black River Matheson, Iroquois Falls and Cochrane, as well as the Boreal Pulse Attraction Team, is dedicated to ensuring that our communities remain well-served by committed and skilled physicians. As an integral part of physician attraction and retention efforts, MICs plays an active role in contract obligations to support sustainable healthcare access in our region.
The availability of healthcare professionals is critical to the well-being of our communities. Recognizing this, MICs has partnered with local stakeholders to create a welcoming and supportive environment for physicians considering our communities as their place of practice. Our efforts extend beyond recruitment—ensuring that physicians receive the necessary support, housing, resources, and community connections that encourage long-term retention.
